HW:  Read “How it Feels to be a Colored Me” by Zora Neale Hursten:
Copy questions:
1.     How does the hook signal the author’s stance?
2.     What do you think the author’s purpose was? (explore topic? argue a point? provoke readers? other?)
3.     What do you think the author is saying with all the color imagery?
